Auntie B was my mum's best friend. When our family had literally no money it was Bernice that hired her to clean her house. Yes we all know how laughable her needing a cleaner is but that is the kind of friend she was. My mum ended up cleaning the cutlery drawer out because it was the only thing she could find to clean. Maureen went through a lot of terrible things and Bernice was always three for her until the very end. It didn't stop with my mum though. My 26yr career in computing is almost entirely down to the influence of Bernice. I remember testing a programme that taught children to add. snowman was cool. It was Bernice of got me my first job interview. My life would not be same same if she wasn't in my life. I can't write this without mention football though. Myself, my dad and my two brothers are all football fans but when my mum won tickets to see the FA Cup Final she didn't consider asking us to go. The best friends went together and watched a cup final together and have an awesome time. Friendships like that are what make the world a better place. I'll always miss but never forget Bernice.
