To My Nan,

Sorry I can’t be there for your final send off but the children and I will be raising a cup of tea to you from Finland complete with biscuits which I’ve packed in my suitcase.
You will always be my Nan who baked the most amazing cakes and biscuits, who kept the most pristine house and who ironed their knickers. Lol!!
I used to love looking at all your teddies on your bed and adding new ones to your collection and I will always remember all our chats about the soaps. You will be pleased to know I still watch all 3 of them.
I hope you have been reunited with Grandad and all your brothers and sisters that passed along time before you.
Lots of Love
Kelly xxxxxxxxxx

Nan, for once in my life I am struggling for the right words.
For those who truly knew you, will know, that you liked things done a certain way, normally your way. A strong, determined, funny and don’t forget stubborn woman. You certainly taught me to stand up for myself. My love for baking and a pristine house certainly comes from you. I loved listening to your stories and funny anecdotes, now my memory fails me, I wish I had written them all down. You and Grandad will always be in my heart and never forgotten. My only regret is that I couldn’t make all your wishes come true. Love you always Lisa xxxx
