In loving memory of Belinda Willsher who sadly passed away on 27th July 2015. Belinda will be greatly missed by all the people that loved her and those she touched with her kindness, generosity and selflessness. A beautiful woman who, with her husband Mike, her two daughters Karys and Michaela and other family members, was just discovering a new life that had a special meaning. Regretfully, she never fulfilled all the dreams that she had with her family, but we very much hope that she is with us all in our lives going forward as otherwise these lives will be even less complete than they have become since her passing.

My Beautiful Belinda, not only a sister but best friend. You have always been there for me and I miss you so very much. We had so many good times together, although in our younger years, like most siblings, we argued and fought. But always made up.
If this was all the time we were meant to have together, then I shall be thankful that I had nearly 53 years with you as my big sister...although I would have liked many, many more years.
I have loads of wonderful memories spent in your company and the ones I will remember most are the ones filled with laughter and a glass of wine!
YOU ARE THE BEST BIG SISTER A GIRL COULD EVER ASK FOR. XX

Love you loads....miss you more...till we meet again RIP
Debbey xxxx

Belinda, there was so much we were to do together, milestones and memories we will never see in person. But I know you'll be proud of us, you always were, no matter how much you worried sometimes. You will always live in my heart as the trait I most strongly associate you with, selflessness. Always happy to take the back bench for the happiness and safety of the people you loved and cared for most. Selfless to strangers you didn't even know. You were so beautiful in so many ways, but this is how I will always remember you, honest, loyal and selfless. I'm so sorry you can't be here to see it happen, but I will always keep her safe and happy. Goodbye Belinda. I miss you. Xx

My memory of Belinda is the beauty that flowed from within her from that fateful night in Dukes on April 10th 1987 where she told me her real name and telephone number and I remembered it! to the wonderful times we spent in Turkey and the glow and beauty I was seeing once more of that girl I met 28 years before. To the first night in our flat, where we slept through Michael Fish's remembered blunder of there not being a storm, to our engagement in December 1987 and our marriage in June 1988 - I was always a fast worker. The surprise, but most of all the pleasure of knowing that I was to be a dad in December 1989 and then again in July 1993 (in a wonderful little place called Cheswick Green in Birmingham). How proud I was of you in providing me with our perfect family and the memories that followed as our lives went on an amazing journey of love and adventure. The greatest memory I have of you was that in Dukes that night you were the most beautiful person in that room and that you were attracted to the second most beautiful person - it was like nobody or nothing else existed. The memories I dwell on, and I can assure there are enough to keep me busy for many years to come, are all wonderful. So thank you for providing me with those and those that you have left for others. My everlasting memory is that I loved you dearly and will do so until the day we eventually are reunited. Mike xxx

Belinda it has now been a month since you passed away. A very lonely month for me, the girls and Poppy. I am sure this has also been felt by other members of the family and all the good friends you made along your journey in life. In tribute to your life, we saw creativity, thoughtfulness and bravery of those who stood to say how much you meant to us all. The legacy you have left is a beautiful one as you were and still are the most beautiful person I have had the fortune to meet and then to marry. What a lucky person I have been for the life and family you created and the teachings that you quietly gave us all through your behaviour and guidance. I now have to be strong for the girls and the rest of the family and I know I can do that with your strength, guidance and presence that I and others still feel is with us now and hopefully for the rest of our lives. I hope that we all did you proud in providing a sad but beautiful service for you that you so richly deserved. I will also promise to carry out the plans that we discussed and take care of the girls in the way that they deserve.

I loved you then, I love you now and I will love you so for always.

Your loving husband and best friend Mike xxx

Personality wise, Belinda was a very sociable girl, who had many friends. She could even be described as a bit of a party animal. In her early 20’s Belinda would always be out clubbing, either in Ilford or Romford. Places like ‘Room at the Top’, ‘The Ilford Palais’ or even ‘The Bird Cage’. Sometimes, Belinda would go further afield to places like ‘Caister Soul weekenders’ or ‘Dukes’ in Chelmsford. It was in Dukes where Belinda was to meet her future husband, Mike.

A memory which I have of my eldest sister Belinda, is of the time when she worked for Trebors the sweet manufacturers. When she first started at Trebors they sent Belinda and some of her fellow co-workers on a sweet making course, where she made some boiled sweets. Of course with her prized bag of boiled sweets she handed them out to her family and friends... guess who got a lump of metal in theirs...yes it was me!...I didn’t get an apology from Belinda, because she was too busy rolling up in fits of laughter!...cheers Belinda...I’m still off boiled sweets till this day!!...But then maybe it was payback for all those ‘objects’ that I used to put in her bed…objects like conkers...still in their spikey shells!!

I can remember that there were many fun caravan holidays to Walton-on-the-Naze. Where Belinda along with her two younger sisters and myself (her younger brother), would get up early and then get dressed quickly so that we could head down to the beach before 8am and get a spot right outside the beach hut, (which our parents had hired). We would spend the whole day on the beach, swimming, building sand castles and making new friends. Later on in the day, we’d head down to the pier to enjoy the amusements and fairground rides. Once we had, had enough of that, we would make our way back to the caravan while eating a bag of fish & chips.

Belinda, her brother Paul and two sisters Deborah and Juli had numerous pet’s while growing up. One in particular was a rabbit called Sooty. Which Belinda and Deborah had seen on one of their many trips to Brick Lane (which is in the east end of London). They somehow persuaded their Mum and Dad (Pat and Ron) to let them buy it….It was this rabbit that had their Dad running around the back garden in his vest & pants one windy night trying to catch it, as the hutch had blown over enabling Sooty the rabbit to escape. Belindas Dad was guided to the whereabouts of the rabbit by a giggling Belinda & Deborah from an upstairs bedroom window.
