We would like to invite you to the memorial service for our beloved Nick Sparks, who sadly passed away on the 12th November 2021.
The service will be held at Exton Church, Rutland, where Nick was from. Nick liked bright colours so please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We would appreciate it if you could let us know if you are coming.

Nick was a very good friend when I needed a very good friend. He never judged me, he made me at ease with myself. He was a close colleague who made me chuckle and see the daftness of some of the things we had to do. For a while, we had a secret code using engine numbers to share comments. One I recall was 46127 Royal Scot Class 'The Old Contemptibles’ , who could that have referred to?
He was a living, walking setter of Pub quiz questions especially music. His working knowledge of antique model railways was amazing. Did he ever find the station building with a different colour roof from the final production design? 'Worth a bob!'
