In loving memory of Anne-Marie Jenkins (née Eccles) who sadly passed away on 13th November 2021 in St Giles Hospice after a battle with cancer.

Anne-Marie was the most gentle, caring and loving soul who always put others before herself no matter the personal cost. She appreciated the simplest things in life and never expected anything from anyone but was always the most grateful when any kindness was shown to her. She truly was a bright light shining in an increasingly dark world and her absence will be felt deeply by all those that were closest to her.

Anne-Marie's wishes were that people do not buy flowers for the funeral but instead make donations to St Giles Hospice and the Ashby Canal Association. Donation boxes will be provided at the funeral and also at the wake that will follow but in the case of St Giles donations can also be made online using the link to the right.

The dress code is whatever people feel comfortable in. She wanted people to feel comfortable, so they can either wear traditional black if they prefer to or they can wear something more colourful if they feel like it celebrates her personality and life better. As long as it's smart and respectable she would be happy.
