In loving memory of Margaret ‘Peggy’ Snelling, aged 88, who passed away on 15 November 2021 after a brave battle following another stroke. She was a much-loved wife, mum, nanny, great-nanny, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbour and her passing leaves a great hole in all our lives. The most kind and thoughtful lady, she will be much missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.

Karen and John Rooney donated £50 in memory of Margaret

I feel so blessed and privileged to have been able to call you my friend, Mags. I will miss our quick coffee meets (that lasted hours), our chats, laughter and hugs, but you will never be far from my thoughts, I can't visit a garden centre without doing a spot of dead-heading, just like you
showed me!! Love you forever, until we meet again my darling Mags, always in my heart. Xx

So privileged to have had you as a friend, I will miss our chats and laughter, a quick coffee that could last for hours!! You will never be far from my thoughts, I can't go into a garden centre without thinking about you or without doing a bit of dead-heading, like you taught me!! Rest peacefully my darling Mags. With love and gratitude. Xx

Thanks for all the love and support that you gave me over the years, no matter how good or bad thing were at the time, you were always there for me with your smile and encouragement.
It’s so difficult to write a message saying goodbye as I don't want to accept that you have gone, phoning you so I can hear your voice on the answerphone is a momentary uplift.
Everybody who met you, loved you so much and whenever I meet up with old friends I hadn’t seen for ages it was always “you” they asked after first, you will leave a massive hole in so many people’s lives.
Goodbye mum, hope you’re having a well-earned rest up there, will miss you so much but will look forward to meeting up again someday
Love Chris X X X X X

Margaret,
May you rest in peace and rise in glory.
I remember you as a kind, caring, interesting and interested lady.
In particular I remember our early morning talks during our stay in Paris. We talked about faith, spirituality and life in general and set the world to rights!

Aged 14 I came on the coach to London to spend a few days with my cousin , Karen I remember with fondness the welcome and kindness from Margaret to a nervous teenager. A beautiful lady: my mum and I remember the laughs we had at a reunion in London a few years ago.

Sadly, we didn’t get to see you much in the last few years but always enjoyed our chats when we did meet up. You will be sadly missed.
