Richard died peacefully at home after a short illness, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday 9th November 2021. Devoted husband to Carol for nearly 50 years, father to Jonathan and Beth and grandfather to Livia, beloved member of extended family. History, Geography and RE teacher at St. Luke's School and Havant College. Poppy Appeal Organiser for Lovedean and Horndean Royal British Legion, Navy Cadet group leader, volunteer reader to pupils at Purbrook Infant School, long-standing member of Portsmouth Historical Association and much more besides.
We can't believe you've left us. We love you always.
Funeral service will take place at Christ Church Portsdown on Saturday 27th November 2021 at 12.00 noon.
