In loving memory of Kevin Sidney Stinchcombe who sadly passed away on 26th October 2021.
Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a zest for life which was hard to describe. He was always busy doing something, whether it was taking a car apart or out cutting hedges.
Kevin loved his cups of tea with 4 sugars. This got the younger generation in to trouble as they would often see Kevin putting so many sugars in and they would do the same. Hehe. Kevin also loved his jam sandwiches. Sometimes this would be with banana, sometimes not. Either way, there is and always has been a pot of jam in the cupboard.
Kevin was very well educated. He had educational certificates for almost everything!! His most recent being the tractor and hedge cutting certificate. He was so proud of his achievements.
Kevin absolutely loved to fish. He enjoyed getting out and relaxing by the side of the river. Something which he had been taught by his father and which he passed on to his children.
Kevin’s favourite phrases:
1. Just one more cup of cha.
2. Pick that up (xx). I have a bad back/ovaries/eye/head
3. Look at that sheargar nay (sheargar meaning BIG spider)
4. Stop speeding. (Kevin would consider 30mph speeding) He was pulled over around 6 weeks ago for doing 15mph in a 30.
Kevin LOVED a party. He would often think of excuses to have one.
But at the end of a hard day, there is nothing Kevin loved more than to get in to bed with the blanket pulled up over his head. He would grab the dog and “forearm smash” her next to him to warm him up.
Goodnight Kevin. Will we always love and miss you.
