Peacefully on October 30th, surrounded by family, aged 78 years, Carol (née Young). The devoted wife of the late Alf. The adored mam of Allison, the late Colin and loving mother-in-law of Darren. The cherished nana of Natalie and Paul, Kim and Martin, Nicola and Dan, Gareth and Sam, Callum and great-nana of Emily, Ethan, Tyler, Ella, Leon, Jacob, Clark and Sadie. The dear sister of Chris, Julie, the late Bobby and sister-in-law of Helen, Joe, George and Rosamund. A treasured aunty, great-aunty and a dear friend of many. Please meet on Thursday November 18th for service in Union Street Methodist Church, Hetton-le-Hole at 12:15pm, interment to follow in Hetton Cemetery. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Vic for refreshments. Flowers welcome or donations in lieu for the work of Maggie’s Newcastle. A donation box will be available in the church.
