In loving memory of Marion Rutland who sadly passed away on 13th October 2021. It is sad to be writing this in memory of our Mother but also we are so proud of her and how active she was .This was both in her professional life as a librarian and just under 20 years of retirement . Marion had lots of friends and interests , she loved living in Kinoulton and being part of village life. She missed her husband Mike ,who died in 1996, tremendously and it is comforting to know that she is now on her way to be with him.

What a lovely photo of Marion. I was so sad to hear of her death... I worked with her in the George Green Library, and she could only be described as a lovely lady. She was also very encouraging and supportive - when a few of us decided to start playing netball after work, she bought us the netball; and, along with Barbara, she came several times over many years to my musical society shows. I am so very sorry not to have seen her for a few years now, and also not to be able to make it on Monday, but I will be thinking of her. Jane
