Nobby was an indomitable host, and delighted in showing Naomi and I the best of Cyprus when we visited in 2012. He kept us busy with trips to recommended eateries and beautiful locations nearly every day, despite the 30+oC temperatures!

Nottingham might not be as hot as Cyprus, but Nobby made good use of the sunny spots in Joy and Graham's garden and front room, and we made lots of lovely memories together over the past few years.

Naomi and Nobby bonded over a shared fondness for fantasy novels including the Pern books, and Esmay certainly enjoyed listening to Nobby reading one of her favourite books "The Rabbit Listened".

Nobby was always keen to get out and about (under his own steam if at all possible), and he motivated us to get out for our first walk round the block with Esmay in the buggy when she was just over 1 week old!
