Ron was a huge part of my life growing up, from giving us money so we could buy chocolate from the corner shop without Nanna knowing, to me sat on his shoulders combing his hair. He was a member of the family who we all have such happy memories with and who was loved dearly. We will miss you, rest in peace❤️

Ron was family to us in Canada. He was best man to Roy Perkins, my father, at his 1953 wedding to Doreen. Always a loyal and good friend, he visited us in Canada a number of times, and we had great fun together. Ron was at Mom and Dad's 50th anniversary celebrations in Picton, Ontario. He travelled the length of Canada and to the southern reaches of U.S.A. with Roy and Doreen, to Wales and elsewhere on trips filled with much laughter and adventure. Ron always opened his door to those of us that are the Perkins family, and we were welcomed for conversation, a meal or overnight stay, and given the tours of the local sights. He will be missed. God bless him.
