In loving memory of Christopher Glen Arnold who sadly passed away on 12th October 2021

Chris will be remembered for many things such as his love of travel, his love of beer but most of all the love he gave as a father, grandfather, partner and friend.

Chris passed away peacefully at his home following a short illness surrounded by his family. Sadly many friends did not know just how poorly he was and as time was short, instead of visitors he asked that people remember him as he was the last time they had a beer together.

Instead of flowers we ask that those who wish to donate can do so to charity. We have chosen the Action Bladder Cancer UK Charity to hopefully enable better treatment and early diagnosis so in time, others will not have to lose a loved one to this terrible disease.

Thank you to everyone for all your kind words and support at this difficult time x

This is Chris at a restaurant in Romania - where he surprised us all by turning up in a dracula outfit. So long and thanks for all the laughs Chris!

Chris and I at one of our seaside reunions on the Suffolk coast. I can't think of him without smiling and remembering the good times. Chris was so generous with his time and warm personality - a true gentleman and a true friend and brother.

Thank you for your warm embrace both physically and into your family when I found you as a half brother. There were no half measures for you and you never mentioned the half unless we were drinking and even then it was a pint! We will remember you at those seaside reunions and smile - what a great guy. What a great brother.

Chris was a wonderful mentor when I first started at Coldharbour all those years ago. He will be sadly missed and I am gutted not being able to attend the funeral in person. If there is a video link I would like to be there virtually… any details ?

I am truly devastated by this very sad news. Chris was a true gentleman, mentor, manager, colleague and friend. I will never forget the times we had together, usually with a pint of ale in hand. I would like to wish the family my condolences at this very sad time. R.I.P Chris, dear friend, you will be missed by me and many others.
