Daniel Roy (19 Apr 1951 - 15 Oct 2021)
Funeral Director
In loving memory of Daniel Roy who sadly passed away on 15th October 2021, aged 70 years.
Much loved son, brother, husband, father, granda, uncle, cousin, friend and soon to be great granda lost his brave, short battle for life whilst in hospital.
Growing up in Barlanark, he was a keen footballer, playing and making friends all over Glasgow.
Finding his soul mate, he settled down, marrying Roseann and starting their family life in Dalmarnock with his daughter, Lesleyanne and son Daniel.
He was a pipe fitter, working all over the world, a great provider for his family whilst looking after his own parents in their twilight years.
The family moved on to Parkhead where he began to enjoy his much deserved retirement with his wee China, his wee dog Finn.
He enjoyed his last years with wife in Barrowfield, spending his days with his 4 beloved grandchildren, Patrick, Daniel, Kyle and Phaileigh , Roseann and their wee dog Noah.
A very civilised gentleman, he was liked by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him. He had a wicked sense of humour and loved nothing more than sharing a few laughs with all he met.
The world has lost one of the great guys.
His mamie, dad, son and sister were waiting and welcomed him home with open arms.
