In loving memory of Arthur Huthwaite who sadly passed away on 4th October 2021.
He was part of a huge family of 13 siblings and went on to be dad to 4 children and later 5 grandchildren with many family pets in between.
Arthur loved reading especially horror and watching films but scared himself silly with 'The Birds'.He was always active and loved gardening and growing vegetables, playing darts and pool. In his younger years playing football and then watching it and supporting Fort William football team to tease his 3 sons and son in law.
He played many games with his grandchildren Zelda was a long time favourite, scrabble, monopoly, operation, Chainz even though it "cheated" .Chess he spent many hours playing on his beloved board he was proud to have had for 28 years.
Arthur was a much loved, friendly, quiet and funny man.He fought his illness with dignity and resilience,he was determined to enjoy and visit as many places and make memories we can treasure forever.

Dad,
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again💜

I miss you so much and i am so very proud to have you as my dad.Your bravery and courage inspire me to be strong and do you proud.

Love you so much
Deborah

Dear Dad,

When I think back on the time we spent together it makes me smile, especially playing Zelda and watching films, I remember being young and we were always looking for the last piece of heart, The funny thing was we both knew where it was but it was never really about finding the missing piece but it was about us spending that time together. There are so many things I want to tell you but most importantly that I love you.

Love Jon
