Dear Lillian, a wonderful friend since we all moved to Blackmore village in 1958/59 and with other close friends became the Blackmore ‘Mob’. Thank you for all the good times, your kindness, your friendship, never to be forgotten. Love from Jane and Tony xx

Remembering the good times we had with Alan and Lillian at Paul and Helen's.

The photos bring back memories of service spent in the PO with Alan, and his generosity of spirit when he went out of his way to personally transport my Mother in law/Father in law across London on a visit to relatives, all survivors of the First World War.
Our relationship continued in the business with Alan working in the London Region where I met Lillian several times. As it happened I think the last occasion was at a funeral of yet another colleague (somewhere around Bromley)
A lovely lady and good to talk to; never one to grouse about the stresses of having spouses preoccupied with the complexities of managing the PO business. Always ready therefore with a smile and good companionship.
I am sure she will be sadly missed by all her family and those that new her.
