In loving memory of Jayson Kinchin who sadly passed away on 26th September 2021
Jayson was born on 17th June 1989 to Meryl and Stephen Kinchin and from day one was a true mummy’s boy. He was always into mischief with his elder brother Craige and younger sister Kelly. He absolutely loved fireman Sam and mum and dad believed he’d grow up to be a fireman. As he got older he found his love of football with Aston Villa and kept badgering dad to get sky sports so he could catch every game. He’d often play football with Craige and Kelly in the garden and dad would moan if the ball hit the fences too hard incase we upset the neighbours! At school he enjoyed the practical lessons such as woodwork and food tech but would sometimes secretly bunk off school and sneak home to play the PlayStation!
Although his carpentry course at college didn’t take off he got a job at Tesco’s in Cricklade in 2006 where he remained for many years till he was poached to join Tesco’s in Liden. His free time was taken up with nights out, lads holidays, football and seeing WWE wrestling live with his mum and friend Jeff. In 2015 he moved out of mum and dads and brought his coach house in Redhouse. He was a very proud homeowner and threw lots of pre-drinks parties - often with his favourite vodka of choice Grey Goose - with his many friends which probably upset his neighbours.
More recently Jayson was a keyworker during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked all the way through the lockdowns helping keeping us all fed. He was a true family man and was always there for us all if we needed him. He would often spend his days off looking after his sisters sausage dog Ruby who he adored. Since he found out he was going to be an uncle for the third time to Zachary - in addition to Leo and Annabel - he decided he was going to fight tooth and nail to ensure he supported Aston Villa and not Liverpool as dad had wanted. Zachary will now proudly be a Aston Villa supporter and hope to carry on his uncle Jayson’s Legacy in the football kit Jayson brought him before he tragically passed away.
Jayson was always the life and soul of any party and will never be forgotten by any of us. He touched the hearts of everyone who he met and he will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
