In loving memory of Edward Joseph Standen who sadly passed away on 20th September 2021. Peacefully sleeping, safe in God’s keeping.

A much loved husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. So loved, so missed and so very dear.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Ed great joy and happiness. He was hardworking and strong, kind and caring, he loved his home and garden and as long as his family were all well and happy then all in life was good.

He gave us all he had to give however great or small, but most of all he gave us love, the greatest gift of all.

A true gentleman, he was very good friends with my late father Terry Wright. They worked together for years at Home Brewery Daybrook.
Then we all worked together briefly at Coop distribution centre in Blenheim.
