Nigel Ian Dowdney (Passed away 18 Aug 2021)

I was looking to find Nigel and found this page. I worked for Nigel for a few years when I lived in Norwich, as part of a funded project he was a director and founder of. He believed in me and it helped to grow my confidence to progress my career, but he also had great family values and such a passion for local. He also told me about the plastic collecting in the sea and fuelled my interest in positive climate change. It was a pleasure to know you and thanks for your support Nigel and sending love to your family.

Just saw this while searching for Nigel on Google. I worked with Nigel between 1978 and 1981 at the Control Data data centre in East Barnet. He was a lovely guy who would do anything for anybody, and not only helped me develop my career but even helped me move house when I had no transport of my own. Rest in peace, Nigel
