I am truly sorry that personal circumstances prevent me from attending, but my sympathy andlove goes out to all of the family there. I think of Anton as both the big brother that I never had and as the replacement to the father that I lost too soon. He inspired me to be as mischievious and as fun-loving as he was, to strive to be as fit as he was and to take nothing (especially ourselves) too seriously. My tall, slim elegant physique (don't laugh) is entirely due to his frequent neck-strtching lifts which seemed to be a veiled threat to his siblings and to his other cousins, but a well established ritual with respect to me. Even on his last visit with David to Largs, I could see his eyes staring at my neck and I just knew he was thinking, "You are lucky that one of my hands is a little shaky or your feet would be off the ground". He was known as a comic but that disguised a genuine sensitivity which he possesed and which I experienced on many an occasion. Goodbye my desrest cousin and thank you for more than I could adequately express in words.
Peter
