Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush.
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.

Grandad
You are in my thoughts every single day. I can't believe ur not here no more it doesn't feel real.. U meant so much to so many and the thought of never seeing u again is heartbreaking.. I will never forget how grumpy you could be or how happy you could be.. U loved your walks around the memorial and I will never forget that bobble hat you wore.. This is not goodbye this is until I see you again
Love you now and forever

Gramps,
As I stand here and cry these selfish tears my heart is happy in the knowledge that you are free of the pain and discomfort that has held you for so long, you are now free to walk and skip in the park. You will be missed but you will always be in my heart.
Your loving granddaughter Caroline xxxxx
