In loving memory of Ed Ayrton who passed away on 21 July 2021 aged 95.

Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather after a life following Jesus, now at rest with Him.

A plater/sheet-metal worker by trade, for many years at Vospers in Portchester and Southampton, after retirement he spent decades supporting his family, church and other wider interests. We’re thankful for a life well-lived, though sad that he has gone.

Ed and Joyce moved to a Care Home in December 2020, he died peacefully in July after a short illness. In his last two weeks he was surrounded by the love of his wife and family, we’re grateful for in-person visits during that time.

The funeral service is Wednesday 1st September 2021 at 11.00am at Duncan Road Church, Swanwick followed by a burial at Crofton Cemetery at 1:30. It will be livestreamed access via this link:
