In loving memory of Barrie Conley (AKA Bazza) who sadly passed away on 21st July 2015 aged 70 years young. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to so many. He was such a character and he would tell you that he lived a good life and that he did, he made the most of every day. He was always getting himself into trouble and that's the reason we all loved him so much. He has touched so many people's lives and that has shown over the past few days through the masses of support we as his family have received, for which we thank you.

We will never get over losing him but let's think of him and smile because that's exactly how he would have wanted to be remembered. We respectfully ask for only family flowers for the funeral. However if you wish to make a contribution we are hoping to have a bench put on the millenium green at North Hykeham in his memory which is eventually where we will release his ashes. There will be a collection box at the Crematorium on the day of the funeral if you wish to make a donation.

Please use this page to leave messages, stories or photos you may have and let the memory of this wonderful man live on.

Goodnight Gramps,

Heaven has gained another angel
The night sky a bright shining star,
No matter the distance between us
We know you'll never be far

You were such a caring person
Passionate, loving and kind,
You always had a pint in your hand
And you swore alot but we didnt mind

We hope you know how much we love you
To tell you once more theres nothing we wouldn't give,
You will always hold a place in our hearts
And on in our memories you'll live

We will cherish the moment we spent with you,
We're thankful to have been part of your life,
And this we promise to you Gramps
We'll take care of your darling wife.

All my love Becky xxx

Well, where to start uncle Bazza… You were a top bloke and uncle. Always asking how I was getting on in the big smoke and willing to offer advice. You were true gent and always on top form with the banter, in fact it wouldn’t surprise me if you were up there now with a can of john smiths in your hand laughing at us and calling us soft buggers.

It goes without saying you will be sadly missed by us all and will always live on in our memories.

Gutted I didn’t get to see you one last time but sure our paths will cross again Uncle Bazza!

Love Shaun x

Barrie,
We could not have wished for a better son-in-law, you were more like a second son. You were always there when we needed you. We are now remembering all the laughs and banter we had with you.
Loved and respected always,
Love from Avis & Ray xxx

My Brother Barrie.......What a Great Guy....!!!!!
Unfortunately we were only able to connect later in life, but became really close and had some wonderful times together. From baby-sitting me when I was very small and letting me ride on his back up the stairs when taking me up to bed, and letting me play my Dad's drums for a while before tucking me in.
To Barrie and Chris and I doing a great road-trip in my Land-Rover here in Africa and sleeping out under the stars.
And the three of us spending many a good night throwing down the John Smiths over at the Fox.

Take it easy up there Bruv......I'll be seeing you when my time comes.
