Peacefully in hospital on August 4th aged 78 years, Edward (Eddy). The dearly loved husband of Eileen (nee Stott). A much loved dad of Steve and Kevin. A loving father-in-law of Allison and Michelle, a loved uncle and the doting grandad of Jonathan, Matthew, Samuel and Abigail. Friends please meet on Monday August 16th for service in Sunderland Crematorium at 3.00pm. All are welcome afterwards to the Dalton Park Inn for refreshments. No flowers by request. Donations if so desired towards the work of the local MacMillan Nurses. Please see link below:

Eddy will always be fondly remembered as a really nice bloke and pillar of society. A very good friend through Hetton Silver Band and trusted godparent to our daughter. We are thankful to have known him and send condolences to his dear family.
