In loving memory of Teresa Ann Horton who sadly passed away on 5th August 2021.
Our mum Teresa fought brain cancer for 18 months. St Georges hospital in Tooting provided fantastic support - 2 operations, chemo and radio therapy - managed to give her back her life up until the final 3 weeks. We are also very grateful to Marie Curie and Crossroads who supported my sister and I in the final few weeks whilst we looked after mum at home. Obviously, we would also like to support the Brain Tumour Research charity to help them in their valuable work to understand how our beloved mum was taken from us far too soon.
We would like donations to be made to these charities, instead of flowers. We thank you for your kind generosity.

For those of you who are attending; mum would want us all to wear cheerful colours.
The wake will be held in Mum’s garden afterwards (details will be circulated at the funeral).

I have such happy memories of Theresa from my time at school with Sarah. She made all of her girls’ friends welcome when we spent time at her house, with drinks, snacks, laughter and - always - a listening ear and a genuine interest in our lives. She also showed great patience and kindness as a coach when trying to improve my very poor badminton skills. Theresa will be remembered often and with great warmth!
