In loving memory of Neal Brown who sadly passed away on 17th July 2021

Neal passed away suddenly in Southend hospital. It was such a shock to everyone who knew and loved him. His passing leaves us all with great sadness.
Neal was a man of many interests, steam trains, real ale, standing stones and the ancient landscape of Great Britain. He had a love of music rock, progressive rock, Bowie and Kate Bush to name a few. In fact his musical intelligence and knowledge was vast. In later years he developed a love of modern folk music, The Decemberists at elephant and Castle was one of the best gigs he ever attended.
Club Riga in Westcliff was another favourite for live music.

He was also a Pagan and spent many evenings at the pagan lion events and celebrations. He loved to spend time in nature visiting ancient sites and with his copy of the Good beer guide in hand, or in his cloth bag and his encyclopaedic knowledge of the railways most trips would include a real ale pub and a signal box or two.
Neal particularly loved Yorkshire, where he spent many happy holidays with his family. His wishes are for his ashes to be scattered there.

Neal will be missed by his family and friends and everyone who knew him.
This page is to remember and celebrate Neals life.
Everyone who wants to please leave messages, light a candle for him and upload photos of him to this page for everyone to see and enjoy Neal in all his glory.

Neal my lovely, wonderful and kind uncle.I wasn’t allowed to call you uncle ever as we were too close in age so you became my older brother that I never had. Wonderful holidays, days and meals out and all the other memories we made just the two of us and then with our families. I can’t believe that that you have gone. Love you always Deborah xxx
