Owen lofty Carly were just some names to me he was strong determined humorous yet at same time weak and vulnerable.
Dad had courage to admit when he was wrong or did wrong and always wanted the best for his 5 sons - yes 5.
Trevor he was proud the way he studied and also joined the service even if the wrong ( Army) who married Maureen , who to him , was so grateful as Trevor suffered a brain Tumour and Maureen love 2nd to none.
Also he loved the grandchildren and always recalled trip to Disney World.
Sadly mum and Dad lost one son still born
Deryk he was proud of the way he worked his way up from Saturday boy to owning the Company .Kim married Deryk and together have provided 2 more grandchildren .
Then there is Me it is fair to say with Covid and being furloughed I am very lucky indeed , I know why dad is so proud of me -that is between me and him I married Martin who was Dads 5 th son and was a proud follower of his choir and dancing.
Every time I visited Dad over last 18 months seldom did visit go without mention Mum it will comes to no surprise to the family that Dad lasted so long he always took the scenic route and got lost .
Every time I saw him he made me laugh he once said the best thing in life that you can give is your smile and to make people laugh
