Left home at 14 from Rhonda Vally South Wales to come to Devon. Then to Southampton.
Became a cook and later a chef in RAF.
Met his wife Jean and married in 1953.
Has 3 children. Has 6 Grandchildren. 3 Great Grandchildren.
