Jean Tallintire (20 May 1935 - 15 Jul 2021)

In loving memory of Jean Tallintire (nee Jackson), ages 86, who sadly passed away peacefully in Hawthorn House Care Home on Thursday 15th July after a long illness borne bravely. A much loved wife to the late Jim; mother to Barry and Julie; mother-in-law to Elaine and Gavin; grandmother to Nicky, Amy (and husband Eddi), Craig, Abigail (and husband Samuel), Jessica and Charlotte; great-grandmother to Pheobe and Reuben; aunt to Ian.

Jean was an only child born to Ernest and Catherine Jackson. She was a medical shorthand typist in Glasgow Royal Infirmary's X-Ray Department for over 40 years, long standing Brownie leader and devoted mother and grandmother. A committed Christian who devoted herself to others, she is now at home with her Lord Jesus and finally re-united with her husband Jim who died in February of this year.

John Chapter 10, Verse27: My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. No-one can snatch them out of my hand (Jesus).
