Roy, such a kind, thoughtful, generous, smiling man. Always grateful of every little thing when I cared for you, enjoyed our walks, our laughs and obviously your singing every night before bed, thanks to the lovely Sally. I miss the phone calls daily mainly it was to check when your next meal was coming or forgotten you've eaten. Haha. its been a delight being part of your life! Never a dull moment!Now r.i.p Mr smiley!

Roy , such a lovely man ,kind hearted and genuine and nothing was to much trouble for Roy. We all new Roy from Smithfield Avenue, Trowell,where my mum would go and often have dinner with Joan and Roy ,as they all would make my mum Betty welcome and also would use there telephone, as we couldn't afford one in the early years as money was tight, my mum would leave some money for the use of the telephone, thankyou Roy and also Joan for being so kind and thoughtful, as you could not meet a nice couple.I often think of Roy as a loving family man who was so caring to his family and friends ,thinking of you Roy ,God bless you and your family with love from Mark and Suzan xxxxxx
