Widow to the late Ernest Kirby, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday 18th July 2021.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday 5th August at 11.00am in the Main Chapel at Wilford Hill Crematorium.
Barbara requested that mourners please wear bright colours with no black, where possible.

We have had the pleasure of being one of Barbara’s neighbours for the last 5 years. Walking Candy many times each day, in all weathers, Barbara would always stop for a chat. She was so nice to my son Max and he would run out to say hello every time he saw her. We all miss her and Candy brightening our day. Rest in peace Barbara. Max, Dean, Ania, Cherry and Perry xxxxx

People say there no such thing as perfect but I can assure you they are wrong because you was nothing but perfect to us, you was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met you sure was a role model and a half, you was so independent even at 92 and you was proud of the life you had made for yourself! You was always happy even when you wasn’t feeling yourself but you never once moaned about anything you just got on with life and made each day happy, We’re all so heartbroken that you’ve been taken away from us but I promise you that I will always look after your grandson and great grandchildren for as long as I live! Rest in piece now beautiful untill we meet again, love you lots mamma

Dear mamma you are the most amazing and beautiful person to ever walk this planet. I’m ever so grateful for having you in my life. I’m ever so sorry for being a pain most of my adult life. I never meant to hurt you with the things I did. I know you know I didn’t mean it most of the time. You was my mum at times always my father and for sure you was my mamma. I miss you like crazy! I just want you home so I can have an incredible cuppa teas you do and clip round my ear when needed. Don’t let me keep struggling please and keep an eye on me and guide me along like always please.
