In loving memory of Debra Thompson who sadly passed away on 13th July 2021.
Before her illness Deb worked as a Rehab Support nurse at the City Hospital, a job she loved and enjoyed for over 10 years. Deb made some great friends during this time and enjoyed their nights out together.
Always keen to travel the world, Deb really enjoyed her holidays and was lucky enough to tick off many countries on her bucket list in Asia and the Far East as well as closer to home in Europe.
Deb was never happier than when entertaining at home with all her family and friends around her having a good time.
Deb was so proud of her children Daniel and Rachael and loved seeing Rachael travelling around the world on her adventures.
More recently Deb became a grandmother when proud parents Daniel and Amy had little Alfie who brightened her days no end. Deb cherished the short time that she had with Alfie.
Deb’s funeral will be take place at 14:30hrs on Friday 6th August at Gedling Crematorium and then afterwards at The Lambley. Family flowers only and donations to Maggie’s Nottingham or MacMillan Cancer Support. It will be a day of celebrating Deb’s life and mourners are asked to wear bright and beautiful colours.
