Simples… wtf! I am guessing this has shocked you as much as it has all of those you leave behind. I didn't know you in your childhood but 25yrs ago you wandered into the 6th form common room not knowing what you will go on to achieve and all of those lives you have touched since. What will I do without my riddle master!? I actually feel the need now to admit that I sometimes googled the answer and giggled at you and Lin thinking I was so amazing at solving some of the real mind benders! Please forgive me…. a cheeky, fun and gorgeous man. Lin and H will be well looked after I promise you. RIP my friend. xxx

Those we love are in our hearts for ever

Such good memories of time working with Simon. One of the nicest and most genuine people you could meet, such a shame that he has left us too soon.

I remember the first day we met, we instantly became friends and shared some great times together, although life took us in different directions in adulthood, but the memories of all the great times we had stayed with me and I always considered you a good friend, no matter how far apart we were. You are greatly missed. Sail well my friend, God speed.

I feel so fortunate to have met Simon through work and to have had the opportunity to spend time with a man who was truly lovely. The years that I worked as a team with Simon and Ricky were the most enjoyable of my professional life. Simon was such a kind and funny person and a pleasure to be around so I know he will be terribly missed very by many people. Rest in Peace Simon and our thought and prayers are with you, Lindsay, Harriet and your families.

A great friend, husband, father, brother and son - will be sorely missed by us all. A true gentleman, loved by everyone.
