Mick Guest (6 Sep 1959 - 29 Jun 2021)

I am making this donation on behalf of my dad to say thankyou for all the care and support and hard work that woking hospice did for him in his last few weeks. Also a massive thankyou from his family to the hospice aswell, they were amazing each and every day and never stopped working hard or caring towards the end. He will be missed by everyone and his presence lives on through all of us.

In honour of my lovely work colleague Mick Guest. I will never forget you. God bless you.

I met Mick when he was about 15 - we were in a work party who had gone to clean our old youth group coach out before it took us on our YP holiday. I was really shy at the time, but He and Charlie, being a little younger than me, brought me out of my shell and made me laugh so much. From that time on, we were always firm friends, and I lost my shyness almost completely. So, in his onw way, Mick changed my life.

Going to so miss you. Whenever Phil spoke to you in person or on the phone, it made me laugh because his London accent would come back, and when we came over before Christmas,getting lost with you in the car.Hilarious.Hope you get a better sense of direction with you Angel wings. Love always brother in law and always cherished.💕

Back in those
unencumbered days,

I could fill this with memories from chess to motorbikes, through lives lost and found, to fivers exchanged, to things remembered by him, and not by me, and tin-pot snooker 'tournaments' on his 3 foot table. Most recently the courage he showed in his illness. My great mate.

Fly high Mick , You will always be remembered and missed, so many good memories and wise words of wisdom was given to from you to me , you help to mould me in to the woman I became and I Thank you Mick till we meet again in Heaven .
