This man was my grandfather, who turned his back on his own natural born children, to be with his second wife. He never even met any of his own grandchildren, of which I am the eldest at 51 years old.

Peacefully in Dairy Lane Care Home on July 16th aged 93 years, Norman. The devoted husband of June. A much-loved dad, grandad and great-grandad (GG). Please meet for service in Sunderland Crematorium on Tuesday July 27th at 10:00am. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu kindly received for the work of The Alzheimer’s Society.
