Sue Gentry (26 Sep 1956 - 7 Jul 2021)

In loving memory of Sue Gentry who sadly passed away on 7th July 2021

Born 26th September 1956, much loved daughter of Percy (Jim) and Daisy Bartlett.
Sue is the middle of three daughters, making her the mischievous one, as June and Yvonne would probably agree.
Sue married Barry in 1975, making him the happiest man in the world, something she managed to achieve for 46 years.
Sue and Barry have two sons, Wayne and Terry, who we have always loved, immeasurably, and who have always returned that love and have always been there for us. We are so proud of them. We have also been lucky to receive the love and support from our grandson, Marcus, and Lauren, our “adopted” daughter.
Sue will be remembered for many reasons, the main ones being her love for her family, her love of Christmas, her love of Spain and her wicked sense of humour.
For most of Sue’s working life she was a retail manager who had the ability to connect with her staff in such a way that many of them kept in touch with her, as friends.
And then there was Sue the carer. Sue cared about everyone and would offer support to anyone who needed it.
Even through her illness she was always apologising to me, for the additional work and worrying that I was doing too much and being concerned about my well being.
That is the type of person she was.
She is much loved and will be greatly missed.
