Dad passed away peacefully at Barton cottage Hospital on the 1st of July.
Over the last few years’ dads’ health, mobility and Covid restrictions have prevented him from getting together with you all as often as he would have liked. Social moments have been precious.
He was the heart and head of our family and will be missed in so many ways.
We would like to thank the team of lovely people who looked after dad from Home Instead and the staff at Barton Cottage Hospital whose compassion and care was golden. You are all very special people.
A small family only funeral has been arranged for the 21st of July. At approx 2pm we will be walking dads ashes from the Methodist church in Crowberry lane to the Cemetery so that they can be interned with mums ashes. If you would like to say goodbye and stand out for dad that would be lovely.
