I would like to say thank you, to everyone who donated in memory of my beloved Rob, who I will love & miss every day, my heart is broken. It just shows what a lovely, kind caring person he was for how much that’s been raised.

Thank you Jennifer Ashe & Son & Revd Martyn Jinks, even though it was a very sad day, made it special, it was a lovely service.

Dad, our loving, beautiful, wonderful, kind, caring, funny Dad.

The last few months have been the hardest time of our lives. Finding out you were ill, been given hope, for it then to be cruelly taken away from us all.

Although the days Mom, Robert and me spent with you at the hospice were heartbreaking as we knew what was about to happen, we will also cherish them forever as the 4 of us were all together. I know you could hear us all talking about  all the funny stories that had happened over the years.  We knew you were enjoying listening to us and you fought so hard to stay with us.  Because you and Mom have given Robert and me such a  wonderful life, we have of tons of cherished memories to talk about. 
You and Mom have made me and Robert the people we are today by bringing us up to be kind and decent. You have both  instilled this in Maisie, Zach, Isabella and Amelia-Rose also.  You have also both been loving and caring in-laws to Damon and Claire.

Dad I miss you so very much, our hearts are broken and will be forever, everyday will be hard to get through.

I love you Dad, thank you for being the best Dad we could have ever wished for. God bless, rest peacefully xxx

My Dad was a loving husband to my mom, an excellent Dad to Emma and me and an amazing Grandad to Maisie, Zach, Isabella and Amelia-Rose. He was also a good father in law to Damon and father in law to be to my Claire. I also know Dad was a much-loved friend and valued colleague to so many.

Dad worked hard all his life and he taught Emma and myself right from wrong and how to be a decent human being. Dad introduced me to Aston Villa of which I am truly grateful, it could have been worse it could have been Birmingham City.

The first of everything will be difficult, the first birthday, Father’s Day, Christmas, family celebration in fact every day, but we will all cherish the memories we have of you forever.

RIP Dad, I will miss you and think of you every day. I love you Dad xxx

Rob was a kind, devoted man and he was loved very much by everyone around him. He was an amazing role model for his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered as the caring gentleman he is

We send our heartfelt condolences to Chris, Rob, Emma, Damon, Claire, Maisie, Zach, Isabella and Amelia Rose following the heartbreaking loss of Rob. As our two families were preparing to be joined by marriage we met Rob at several family events. We are sad we have been denied the chance to get to know Rob better. He was a lovely thoughtful gentleman and it was clear he was a devoted husband, dad and grandad. A particular memory I have of Rob, is of him sitting quietly chatting to Zach. You are a lovely family and our thoughts are with you during this difficult time xxx
