I didn’t know Mick for as long as some of the other golfing friends he knew it was probably about six years. I was introduced to Mick by Dave Shaw who also sadly passed away last December so now I have lost two great friends and golfing partners.Mick was a great bloke with a wicked sense of humour but the thing I enjoyed the most was the continuous banter and micky taking while playing golf. One sentence will always be on my mind when I am taking a putt on the green, if it was an important putt to win the match against him you could hear a little voice in the background “Squeaky bum time Al” which always seemed to work in putting me off. Saturdays will not be the same he will be missed by me and others at the golf club. Mine and Hilary’s thoughts are with Margaret and her family at this sad time Al
