I only met you, Eddie, for the first time in 2018 when I had heard about you for most of my life so I decided it was time for me to find you. What a breath of fresh air you were when I did and we hit it off immediately. You were funny and caring and had such a zest for living your life. You had so many tales to tell. I'm so glad so many of us were able to share your 90th birthday with you and I will not forget how humbled you were with it too. RIP Eddie - I hope you are driving with the angels in your camper van ! Xx

Thank you for always being silly and making everything fun, I have lots of lovely memories of holidays, being given big hugs, your laugh, chasing us with your claw finger if we had been cheeky, messing with nanny when she was in her wheelchair and she couldn’t see you pulling silly faces behind her to make us laugh. I am very glad Margot got to spend some time with you and you got to meet your first great grandchild. I guess that milestone was always fitting being your first grandchild too.
I think even now if I said I would get a tattoo in your honor, you would be disappointed 😆 so it’s probably a good thing you can’t see that I have pink hair again.
Love you grandad, you were the best xxx
