Lynsey my wee cuz, were do I start?
From our childhood memories at Church St, being sent round the shops and running back quick, excited for chips and a pickle out the chippy for our Friday night treat. Then to Hyndland St. Wearing your mums high heels and makeup. Getting to eat the ham hough from the soup pot with a wee tate of ginger.
Playing round my mums back in the summer making dens with the sun loungers and then perfume with the roses petals and water. Going to the school discos across the road. Playing hide and seek in my grannies.
Always staying over at weekends at each other’s after our mums get togethers. Darren chasing us, throwing the plastic veg from my play kitchen/shop and us screaming and laughing, hiding under the covers on the top bunk.
The caravan with me, you, Darren and Mags Doc. The big tin of golden syrup we ate with a spoon.
Having our girls the same year, them being brought up together, just like us and having the same closeness and great family memories we had was something very special we both loved. Will treasure all our fun times with the girls and holidays to Bulgaria and caravan.
There’s so many more great memories, but I will treasure the most the laughs we had together. Our same sense of humour and constant carry on and the patter flowing.
I miss you so so much and always will, until we meet again.
Love you forever ❤️
Goodnight and god bless
Ten kisses to you, Darren and Auntie Frances xxx
