Angela Ward (24 Apr 1939 - 19 May 2021)

In loving memory of Angela Ward who sadly passed away on 19th May 2021

Born to Norman and Doris Ward on 24.04.1939, Angela was a 'blue' baby who later had to wear irons on her legs to help her walk. She was a loving sister and Aunt who will be very sadly missed. Her biggest smile glowed right through her eyes and into yours and warmed your heart.

She had fond memories of her youth, as well as stories to tell of her wicked stepmother and despite her difficult early childhood years with the loss of her mum at the age of 5 she lived a full and fun life. She adored both her elder brother Ian and younger sister Christine.

She made many friends throughout her life and never forgot any of them. She even remembered her school teachers names too! She had lots of hobbies and took up lots of craft classes, but her main love stayed with knitting. She enjoyed going swimming with her friends when she could.

Her love and laughter can still be heard by all those that knew her. Despite the pain she suffered on a daily basis she would still smile that smile for us all - one of which we are going to sadly miss.

Angela had breast cancer which eventually showed up in her liver and stomach and sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her friends and carers.

In memory of a much loved sister and Aunt who so lovingly cared and shared with others. Keep smiling knowing that you were so truly loved by all. Go rest in peace with your mum, dad and brother Ian.

Know that you live on in your sister Christine where your ashes will lay.
