Vera Margaret Haben (28 Apr 1939 - 13 Jul 2015)

Mum it has been 6 weeks today since I lost my best friend it feels like an eternity since I heard your lovely voice and saw your warm smile each day that goes on I'm am finding it harder to face the future without you around I wish I knew you were safe and not lonely I can't stand the thought that you haven't got your loving family around you I want you to come back to visit me so desperately I can only cling on to the hope that you are looking down on us keeping an eye on your brude you done such a great job in bringing us all up you were and allways be the best mum any child could ever have I just wish I had more time with you mum I am so so proud of you and I love you so so much I hope you can see how teddy has seteled in with me and john I promise you we will take care of him forever we luv him loads like you did I know how much pleasure he gave to you and he is so much like you in your unique nature he hasent got a bad bone in his body well mum I am going to try to cope without you but I promise you there isn't a second in a day that I am so desperate to see you or hear you but I only have memories and what a load I have of them I will eventually beable to rely in them to get me through the days I love and miss you so much mum I will speak again soon by for now xx

I hope your ok where ever you are and well.I will always love you Nan no matter what and i will never forget all the things we done together. Especially the times when i stayed with you and you listend to all my problems and all the times you helped me when i was feeling down, you are the best Nan in the world and no one could of asked for better. I love you nan and miss you so much, i hope to see you again, i am thinking about you every day and i promise we will speak again, Love You Nan but before i go i want to write you this poem.
if roses grow in heaven lord please pick a bunch for me
place them in my Nans arms and tell her there from me
Tell her i love her and miss her
and when she turns to smile
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
because remembering her is easy
i do it every day
but there is an ache within my heart
that will never go away
