In loving memory of John Kenneth Dakin who sadly passed away on 22nd May 2021. John was a much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and friend. His zest for adventure and enjoying life to the full will be his legacy. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. The funeral on 14th June will be available to watch on line via live streaming, please contact the family if you would like details to join in celebrating John's life and they will send you the link. The family have requested family flowers only and would preferably ask for donations (using the just giving link above) to Dementia UK who provided much support and advice for the last few months of John's life.

Dear all in Essex, very very sorry to hear about ken passing,he only lived 5 mins by car away in Barnsley, and was the link via my dad to Yorkshire. Being John he was always my uncle ken !

So sorry to hear the news about your Dad, especially having recently moved back to Essex to be closer to all of you.
We are living in Dorset, so would like to join the on line service if possible, so please send the link when you can.
I have attached a photo. It sits on our dresser at home. I think your Mum sent it to me at some point, but not sure of the year? Please let her know we are thinking of her too.

Very sorry to hear of Uncle Ken's passing on May 22--we were looking forward to sharing fish and chips with a drink or two after our permanent return to England late July or August. Anne and family are in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. Please send us the link for the funeral.
