Clarice was a much loved Wife, Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma (G.G)
She had the kindest nature and would try to help anyone in need.
She loved children and in her earlier years fostered babies.
Mum, known as Mumsie was also a dedicated charity shopper and spent her free time browsing charity shops locally and across the country whilst on her travels with her family.
Her home was filled with her trinkets and treasures that she loved and which brought her so much pleasure.
In her later years , she developed C.O.P.D , a lung condition that causes respiratory problems.
Eventually, her breathing deteriorated to the point that she needed permanent oxygen and round the clock care.
Everyone in her family rallied round and joined forces to give her the care, attention and love that she needed , but eventually when her body grew too tired to fight the degenerative disease anymore, she slipped away and her suffering finally ended.
We have chosen to have family flowers only at the funeral.
For friends and family who would like to donate in honour of her memory, we have chosen to support Treetops Hospice Care, a local charity providing Palliative care , and also the Children’s Society.
Both charities were very close to her heart and any donations received will be much appreciated by the two charities.
In loving memory of Clarice Lilian Stevens who sadly passed away on 13th May 2021 aged 87 years.
Clarice will be sadly missed by all her family and friends💕
