Mary Carrington (5 Sep 1932 - 31 May 2021)

I'll always miss you Grandma, I remember most, coming round and you making me sandwiches and letting me have crisps and biscuits without telling mum. Then as I got older, you'd secretly slip me a fiver as I was leaving so mum didn't see it, all spy novel style :). I love you and I'm so happy that you're with grandad again. I miss you both so much.

Mary, I will miss your lovely smile & laugh(When they came out!!) and your dry sense of humour.
It’s been a privilege to have known you for 26 years & you always treated me as part of the family.
I will never forget the first time you made me Sunday dinner & I had the normal amount of gravy on it, you gave me a look like I was an weirdo from another planet!!!
It’s a shame in the last year you were stuck in the care home due to Covid because I used to enjoy our various trips out for a pub lunch or a KFC.
Finally reunited with your beloved Jack, say hello to him for you. I will miss you loads xxx

Our day at the beach together playing in the arcades will always be a special memory for me. Filled with loads of laughs and you telling stories of all the lovely memories you had of holidays in the caravan with all the kids every year, laughing at Jack and calling him a daft bogger when he got on a trampoline with Louie. You smiled all day!!

Mam you were the best can't believe your gone miss you so much. But I'm glad your with dad again and one day we will all be together again love you so much ❤ xxxx

Grandma , you are loved and missed by us all. I have so many amazing memories with you, from Sunday dinner (god I loved your roast potatoes-you telling me after that I’m washing your pots in the wrong order lol) to going on holiday, to going round markets and you buying lots of baby blue cardigans! Your door was always open and your pantry fully stocked with chocolate and cheese nibbles- I blame you for my unhealthy like of iron brew and cherry berry cordial , you were warm and loving in the way that me and Hannah were always welcome and Louie adored you( your right though I do have my hands full) I’ll miss the way you waved us off outside the house/care home Until you couldn’t see us anymore despite being told to get in out of the cold , showing us how much you cared with a “mind how you go” love you lots , Jodie , Hannah and Louie

Miss you Mary. I probably knew you the least, being the newest member of the family, but I felt I was getting to know you quite well, but didn’t get enough time. You were such a character and your dry humour will stay with me forever. I love hearing all the stories when everyone gets together and starts reminiscing, they always bring a smile to my face and will forever when I think of you. Xx
