Cyborg Team donated £145 in memory of Mavis

The whole Cyborg team, past & present have many fond memories of working with and for Mavis over the many years. Friendships were built alongside working relationships, friendships that continued into her retirement.

She was a wonderful person who always seemed to know the right thing to do, to lose her so soon seems so unfair, we'll never forget her.

Our Friend Mavis

It doesn’t appear to be the right time
But Mavis would expect a rhyme
At every level she passed the test
Mavis was one of the best.

Lucky was I to know Mavis Grover
Though I never understood what drove her
No matter how busy she was that day
She’d make time for what you had to say.
What was a problem for you and me
She’d turn into opportunity
And always gave good advice
In a word she was nice.

Colleague, boss, friend throughout
When in a hole she’d dig you out.
No matter how hard she had to try
There was always a twinkle in her eye.

We’ll miss your hugs we’ll miss your smile
As we think of you once in a while
There is no doubt you were the best
So now dear Mavis, in peace rest.

Helen and John
