June Rose Smith (16 Jun 1938 - 15 May 2021)

In loving memory of June Rose Smith nee Langley who sadly passed away on 15th May 2021. Born in South Shields, youngest of five, father Jack Langley mother Catherine, brothers Michael, George, Harry, John and sister Kathleen. Her brothers were all in the merchant navy, Kathleen was her big sister, June was the baby of the family and sadly lost both her parents when she was very young. Married John Robert Smith a miner in 1958 and moved to Nottingham with many Geordie miners when the pits in the North East were closed 1969. Husband John died in 2012. The Langley brothers and sister Kathleen all predeceased her. Now reunited. God Bless.
