It hard to say goodbye to someone that you looked up to but I know that I'm a better person because I was loved by him. I only hope that I can live up to the example of love, strength, character, and integrity that he set for all of us. While he's no longer here to say that he's proud of me, I carry his strength in my heart. The kindest compliment I hope to hear someday is "your grandad would be proud."

Deeply saddened to hear our Fred had passed away. We have so many many memories that we will always cherish, always fun. Amazingly generous and someone we were proud to call our friend. Sleep easy Fred, in the knowledge you were loved by so many...any rate.

Fred , Legend , fun bloke, always helpful, a great social man . The Enderby Forest era was always a great togetherness and the parties and social activities were the best times . Sleep well my friend .

We are gunna miss you so much freddo, especially your "son" rod, lol you always got the blame for him coming home from pub late.! Will miss your sunny smile, wicked sense of humour, and silly hats! And your great advice on plants and flowers, who can I ask now!? R.i.p. Good friend xx
