In loving memory of John Charles Pound who sadly passed away on 23rd April 2021

John was a loving husband to Linda; doting Dad to Sarah and Jai; amazing Grandad to Aaron, Hannah, Asha, Kia and Tali; fantastic father in law to Tom and Janine; a great brother to Brian and caring uncle, cousin and loyal friend to many.
John was born to Phyllis and Sid in 1946 in Kilmarnock, then his family (including older brother Brian) moved to Charlton when he was just a month old. He was a South East London man through and through with a friendly word and smile for everyone he met.
He married the love of his love and true soul mate Linda in 1967 and they shared a wonderful life together which was full of love and laughter. They were a perfect match. Their children Sarah and Jai were born in 1969 and 1971 respectively which completed their loving family.
John was a hard working family man who spent time in his younger years working as a lift engineer, milkman and ice cream man and some years later years as a window fitter. However, John`s real passion was carpentry and as carpenter he could create anything he put his mind to and worked in this industry until he retired in 2011.

John was one of a kind who will be sadly missed by everyone but will be in out hearts and prayers forever.
